Antonella Boccia obtained her PhD in chemistry at the University of Salerno in 2004. She joined the R & D department of Lyondell Basell Industries from 2004 to 2006, in Italy and in France. From 2010 to 2011 she was researcher at Università telematica SanRaffaele in Rome; scientific area CHIM03. She is carrying out her reseach activities at ISMAC institute of CNR in Milan since 2006 and from 2019 at SCITEC-CNR.
She is involved in different research projects on designing, planning and conducting experiments on natural and synthetic polymers for several applications. She actively cooperate with industries thus supporting the technical activities and on the development of sustainable processes.
