The activities she is involved in, concern two main areas: on the one hand, the area of communication and scientific dissemination (with lessons, events and workshops both indoor and outdoor) and on the other, research activities on polymeric materials. In particular, as regards the latter field: preparation of composites based on biodegradable or biocompatible polymers, characterization of polymeric materials (elastomers and thermoplastics), morphological and morphometric analysis of multi-phase polymeric systems, thermal and thermogravimetric characterization (DSC, TGA). She is currently responsible for the Scitec-Genova SEM laboratory for the morphological and morphometric characterization of complex polymeric systems and for the microanalysis of elements through energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDX)
