Women in Science represent about the 30% of researcher in the world, only 4% of Nobel Prizes for science were awarded to women (UNESCO Science Report 2021) but their work is fundamental for all of us. SCITEC wants to support #womenforscience e #womenforSTEM storytelling the stories of its researchers.
We ask our researchers, students, fellows, technicians to take a selfie at their desks, in the labs at their instruments to show us that a career in science is a real possibility. Then, we ask for a short comment on their interest and activities because Science is not a simple work but is passion. The picture and the comments are collected here to celebrate the #womenscienceday and retweeted on the web throughout the year because every day should be  #womenscienceday!

It's a little sign, but SCITEC believes that Science has to be inclusive every day and everywhere. Meet the women for Science SCITEC!

Thanks to @Ulrike_Boehm to inspire us for this event.
