Degree in physics in Milan. Since 2001 he has been working at ISMAC-CNR with fellowships in the frameworks of organic semiconductors for optoelectronic applications. In 2003 he spent a one-year RTN fellowship in Université Louis Pasteur in Strasbourg (France). Since 2007 is researcher at ISMAC-CNR (now SCITEC-CNR).
His current research activity is related to the development of prototypes of organic/inorganic/hybrid LEDs, Photovoltaic cells; study of solution processable semiconductors for ultraviolet, white, nearinfrared, polarized electroluminescence (conjugated oligomers and polymers, polymer nanocomposites, organometallic complexes and colloidal nanocrystals); optimization of LEDs architectures (direct, inverse, multilayers); Organic devices for energy saving, display and solid-state lighting, and medical applications.
