Research activity concerns the design, synthesis and characterization of molecular components for materials and/or functional devises for advanced technological applications in energy, sensor and catalysis fields, as well as the development of basic scientific knowledge. In particular, design and synthesis of organic dyes for DSSC type solar cells, hole transporting materials for perovskite solar cells, fluorinated ammonium salts for the preparation of new perovskite materials, bimodal fluorescence/19F-NMR nuclear magnetic resonance probes for imaging, electropolimerizable monomers, homogeneous and heterogeneous catalyst for enantioselective Carbon-Carbon bond-forming reactions.
