Process intensification

In a Green Chemistry view, we pursue the development of robust and scalable chemical processes toward more sustainable manufacturing procedures. Process intensification is achieved by applying non-conventional reaction systems and media, for example immobilized (bio)catalysts, biphasic systems and heterogeneous catalysts.

Efficient synthetic procedures are  also developed by designing one-pot, cascade and chemo-enzymatic processes, and multifunctional catalytic systems. Flow chemistry and flow biocatalysis are applied as well, to improve the productivity of existing batch processes.
